The Second Amendment Design
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Our Second Amendment design sets a monumental Roman numeral II, filled with the stars and stripes, over “Shall Not Be Infringed” and the amendment’s full text, ratified on December 15, 1791 with the Bill of Rights.
