The story behind the design
The Land of the Free Design
“Land of the Free” and “Home of the Brave” close every verse of Francis Scott Key’s “Defence of Fort M’Henry,” written in 1814 and now the national anthem. Our design rings those words around a national-park style badge: a sky of stripes and a rising star over mountains and pines. It suits the hiker, the hunter and the camper.
