The Don’t Tread on Me Design
Christopher Gadsden of South Carolina designed his rattlesnake flag in 1775, and its warning has never gone out of style: Dont Tread on Me. Our version is drawn new for PatriotMurica, a coiled timber rattlesnake with its rattle raised, over the motto in the flag’s original spelling. It is the Gadsden design on flags, tees, hoodies, stickers, posters and phone cases.
