2016 Republican Party Platform

Adopted at the Cleveland convention that nominated Donald J. Trump, the platform affirmed that all legislation and official action must conform to the Constitution’s original meaning and called for a president who would honor constitutional limits on executive authority. It supported building a wall along the southern border and mandatory E-Verify, called for trade agreements that put America first, pledged to rebuild the military, and restated support for lower taxes, religious liberty, the Second Amendment and a human life amendment.
