Our own waters, charted: Old Glory flying from a staff planted on the rim of a nautical seal, with a sixteen-point compass rose inside a degree ring and a laid rope, “GULF OF AMERICA” engraved round the top and “RENAMED 2025” between the chart coordinates 25°N and 90°W. Executive Order 14172 of January 20, 2025 gave the gulf its American name, and February 9, 2025 was proclaimed the first Gulf of America Day. In Old Glory red, white and blue.
