Chapters & Community
Local chapters and service in the places members live. Tocqueville saw American liberty in its voluntary associations, and chapters carry on that work.
Chapters
A Chapter in Every State and County
Chapters are organized by state and by county, from the largest cities to the smallest towns.
- 01
Find your chapter
Every state, the District of Columbia and each territory has a chapter, and so does every county within them. Search by city or town to find yours.
- 02
Join as a member
Any member can join the statewide chapter or their county chapter, from the chapter’s page or their account. Members belong to one chapter at a time.
- 03
Lead and serve
Members apply to lead a chapter. Chapters hold readings, lectures and commemorations, and serve their communities: cemetery restorations, veterans’ events and civic education.
Chapter Standards
What Every Chapter Keeps
To apply to lead a chapter, email support@patriotmurica.com with the subject “Chapter application”. Leaders agree to these standards.
Argue with ideas, not people
Debate is welcome. Harassment, threats and personal attacks are not, whether online or in person.
Cite your sources
Chapter materials follow the archive’s editorial standards and label their provenance.
Respect opponents
Describe other people’s views the way they would describe them.
Service first
Every chapter commits to local service, not just meetings.
No election activity under our name
Chapters do not endorse candidates, raise political money or run campaign activity under the PatriotMurica name.
Welcome newcomers
Chapters are open to every member who keeps these standards.
